Description:

Notice the bright yellow proboscis adding a splash of color.

Habitat:

Seen along a trail through highland farms and secondary forest near the village of Siulak Deras on the edge of the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Notes:

It was enjoying the minerals unearthed by some excavating being done in the area.

It is close but no cigar I think. The family of glassy tigers is close too. This is not easy :)

I can't believe that such a stunner cannot be identified. From the wing profile, the thorax spots and abdomen stripes, looks like a species of papilio graphium.
