Skipper

Taractrocera sp.

Description:

Should be either, Taractrocera archias, Taractrocera nigrolimbata, or Taractrocera luzonensis. But I'm having a hard time telling them apart!

Habitat:

Seen along a trail through highland farms and secondary forest near the village of Siulak Deras on the edge of the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Notes:

Looking for an ID of the butterfly. If you happen to know what the caterpillar is, please let me know here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/177... Thanks!
