Yellow Eyed Babbler

Chrysomma sinense (Gmelin, 1789)

Notes:

This 3 pictures are gifted to me by a fellow padayatri after seeing this bird as big as a House Sparrow, on the road unable fly and to open its eyes. The picture shows its legs are weak. This bird was found where there are lots of sugarcane fields.

Thank you Joshua and Karen, we found it on the middle of the road we tried to give water to drink but it did not respond. It opened its eyes of to look at us and closed, after photographing it I kept in on a plant near by but it flew to another branch and remained there. Hope its okay with it. Thank you.

It appears to be sick...are its eyes infected, or did it maybe collide with something. It is a beautiful little bird. What did you do with it?
