Petrorhagia sp. - fam. Caryophyllaceae

Description:

Small plant with thin, straight stalks, on top of which one single flower. The flower mesures less than 5 mm and sits on a bulbous ovary. Petals pink. Two stamens carrying dark blue anthers protrude from the flower. No leaves seen.

Habitat:

On a hilltop, in a dry bushy area.
