This is an adult male Carolina Mantis. You can tell he's a male because of the shape of his body and the length of his wings. Here is one that looks like yours:

Hi Judy, you can go into "edit this spotting" on the top right of the page and you can change the date to when you saw it instead of commenting here. Also, if you know the ID, instead of suggesting the ID (which you do on other people's spottings), since this is your own you can put in the ID under "edit this spotting" as well.
