The chestnut Bob, is a butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae, that is found in Asia and parts of Southeast Asia. The butterfly occurs in Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, north Vietnam, Hainan, Hong Kong, south Yunnan, Langkawi, Malaysia, Singapore, Tioman, Sumatra and Java.

Habitat:

Dense forests, forests, scrublands, savannah, grasslands, hoem gardens & well wooded gardens are the habitats of the butterfly .
