I'd agree with Daniele on her ID. Gray crowned cranes have a light colored neck while the black crowned crane has a dark neck. That being said they both have dominant characteristics that sometimes makes them difficult to tell apart as we tend to focus on those features, such as the crown. Plus these two species are often mis-identified on the Internet. Easy mistake to make....

Hi FernãoJ! This is a Grey Crowned Crane (and not a Black Crowned Crane), a bird native to Africa.
