Mini owlet moth

Mataeomera mesotaenia

Description:

This triangle-shaped moth had fawn coloured wings with dark submarginal areas with small dark spots along the anterior margins. The mid wing region also had a broad brown band. Wingspan was about 20 mm.

Habitat:

Attracted to bright garden lights on a warm night.

Notes:

This moth is also commonly called large scale-moth. Not able to find any information on it.
