Description:

Found these 2 tiny mating Hoppers in long grass beside a lagoon.

Habitat:

Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, a mosaic of elongated lagoons, connected by creeks, savannas and logwood thickets. This one was landed on a tree beside the path.

Hi pamsai!
My suggestion is not Aeneolamia jugata as the given reference because I didn't find a taxonomic work validating this name. Maybe this issue deserves more study.

Yes Doreen, very similar. Though these ones definitely had dark eyes, and no red line on the pronotum.

These look superficially similar to the common Two-lined Spittlebug (Prosapia bicincta) of the US and Mexico, but the pronotum appears slightly different in your specimens.
