Melanerpes erythrocephalus
This is the second time I've seen a juvenile red-headed woodpecker. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this very active bird checking out all the holes in the trees in the marsh I was in. The juvenile has a brown head but it appears to be black and white in appearance. Almost like you are taking a black and white picture.
