Description:

A winter deciduous shrub. Leaves narrow, serrated. Flower plentiful, blooming in March-April. Fruits are covered by a felted pulp. In these pictures you can see how the pulp reveals the almond hard cover. This is one of the progenitors of the cultivated almonds.
