Description:

Sulphur butterflies have wings that are usually yellow or orange with a black border.

Habitat:

The Western sulpher butterfly can be found in open areas including meadows, sagebrush flats, conifer forest openings. This butterfly was spotted in a field in Des Moines Iowa.
