Cherrie's Antwren

Myrmotherula cherriei

Description:

This tiny cool looking male Cherrie's Antwren (Myrmotherula cherriei) is a very sought after uncommon bird found patchily in low sandy-belt forest in the Brazilian Amazon. Very similar in patterning to the more widespread Pygmy Antwren and the endemic Klages's Antwren but vocally very distinct!
