About a week ago, I was looking out of the right front window, and I spotted a large, Swallowtail Butterfly, laying eggs on the leaves of a green bush. This green bush, was on the left side of my house, and about 12 feet from the front door. This female, Swallowtail Butterfly, would lay her eggs, on the top of these green leaves. This female, took about 3 minutes, to lay all of her eggs. Around 8:00 a.m. this morning, I rolled the large garbage container, back to the garage. While I was walking back to my house, I spotted a small caterpillar, resting on top of a green leaf, of this bush. The colors of this small caterpillar, was: 2 white bars, brown, and black eyes. This caterpillar was one fourth of an inch long, and one eighth of an inch wide. This was the caterpillar, of a Swallowtail Butterfly.
