Description:

The Solitary Sandpiper is a medium-sized bird and measures about 19 cm long, with a wingspan of 38-41 cm. He has a long thin, pointed beak, long greenish legs, a thin neck of medium size, her back, wings and head are greenish gray color, and the wings are marked with white spots. It has a barred tail with a dark line in the center crossed by bars that looks like herringbone.

Habitat:

Can be found throughout the American continent in places at the edge of freshwater, muddy banks of rivers and lakes, the largest rain puddles, especially when located in areas with trees.
