Description:

These butterflies are found in the Oriental and Australian region

Habitat:

It is found very commonly throughout the island especially the south country highlands to about 4000 feet but scarce in the North, all year round. It is most abundant in the wet zone and also seen in the lowland marshes. In the rain forests, it is commonest during the monsoons.
