A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Romalea microptera
Limited to the southeastern region of the United States from mid Texas to Florida and north to the Carolinas. They have a broad range of host plants. Seen in cities, parks, gardens, fields, and coastal areas.
There were a large number of adults in the vegetation behind the hotels and the sand dunes. The photos are of several individuals spotted all within an hour during a short walk in this area.
