Toxicoscordion venenosum

Description:

A very toxic wildflower that is about 2.0 ft tall with a conical shape. Flowers are white with yellow anthers.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Mima Mounds Preserve Area near a tree line. Found in western North America. They tend to grow in dry meadows and on dry hillsides as well as sagebrush slopes and mountain forests.
