Cereus repandus
The Peruvian Apple Cactus, Cereus repandus, is a large, erect, thorny columnar cactus found in South America as well as the nearby ABC Islands of the Dutch Caribbean. Cereus repandus is an unresearched, under-utilized cactus, grown mostly as an ornamental plant.
Growing as an ornamental in a large semi-urban yard & garden in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
Sometimes Cereus peruvianus is considered a synonym of C. repandus however that can be problematic. Read about that here http://www.cactiguide.com/article/?artic...
