Litoria ewingii
An attractive small frog about 25mm long with varied tones of brown and cream colours and a distinctive stripe though the eye to the nose.

"This Australian species occurs from the southeastern corner of South Australia, east along the south coast of Victoria and into far southeastern New South Wales. Isolated populations occur along the coast and ranges of central New South Wales. It is widely distributed in Tasmania. It has also been introduced to New Zealand where it is widespread across South Island and in the southwest North Island. It has recently been discovered in Northland near Dragaville and they are known from around Auckland. Ohhh, beautiful little creature.
That's a great shot. They don't like posing very much, do they? You might hear this one celebrating the long awaited rain tonight!
