It is beautiful!
But to me is it is sad to know that.... "The meat and eggs are greatly appreciated, providing the basis for many dishes from the Amazon cuisine"

Project Noah Fact of the Day: While turtles can be amphibious, they are not amphibians, they are reptiles! They have scales, claws and lay an egg that is surrounded by a harder membrane called a shell. The reptiles include the amphisbaenians, crocodilians, snakes, turtles, lizards and tuataras. Amphibians include animals like frogs and toads, salamanders and newts, and the rarely seen mostly fossorial caecilians.
