Cylindrical leaf beetle

Ditropidus sp.

Description:

A shiny black beetle about 5 mm long. Thorax was well rounded and smooth. Elytra were grooved. The small head was well tucked-in. Eyes were black and almost flush with the head. Short antennae appeared segmented.

Habitat:

Spotted on Acacia wattle.

Notes:

Familty: Chrysomelidae
Subfamily: Cryptocephalinae
