Description:

The woolly bear caterpillar lives in forest or people areas. Some say that the caterpillar could predict the weather. The caterpillar has a copper colored belly with black ends. It is a little longer than an inch long and looks like a furry blob. the Woolly’s eat wild plants and flowers as well as some garden greens. Woolly’s quickly spin cocoons and then mate and lay eggs to complete their life cycle. The woolly ends up turning into a isabella tiger moth.
