Crested Treeswift

Hemiprocne coronata

Description:

Rightly named for their beautiful crests, the males flaunts bright orange sides to its face. They're highly manoeuvrable since they're insectivorous and catch majority of their prey in flight.

Habitat:

Spotted it in the Dry Deciduous forests of Gir National Park. Being the last abode of the Asiatic Lions in the wild, these forests are home to some amazing wildlife.
