Cardinalis cardinalis
This individual Northern Cardinal is strikingly lighter, almost pink, compared to the other male cardinals that appear at my feeders. Definitely not a a female, it also is lowest on the pecking order, and is easily chased off the surrounding crab apple trees. He feeds when other birds are scared off by a cooper's hawk or fly off for some other reason.

I had one like this too, same thing lowest in pecking order. Sadly he got killed by a predator because he had to wait till dusk to eat bird seed and his luck ran out :(
Wonderful!!!
The first picture captured by chance. He was less than a foot from the snow and still in this head first position.
