Underwing Moth

Description:

Underwing moth with a purple iridescence on the upper wings at certain angles. The underwings are bright yellow with large brown margins. About 2 cm long. Family Erebidae (Noctuidae).

Habitat:

Came to the parking lights of a shopping mall, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
