Bald Eagle

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Description:

Large Eagle. Dark brown body and white head and tail. Large hooked yellow orange beak and legs. Yellow eyes. (second image caught in a blink). This one was mainly feeding on fish and ducks.

Habitat:

This was found flying, hunting and roosting at man-made lakes

Notes:

Roosting occasionally in the same Raptor tree as the Peregrine falcon and Cooper's Hawk if found before. Also an immature Bald Eagle was reporting showing up a few times.
