Spotted St. John's wort

Hypericum punctatum

Description:

An herbaceous wildflower. The leaves are opposite and sessile. The plant is covered in tiny black glands.

Notes:

I've seen spotted St. John's wort in a handful of locations. This particular patch is the spottiest I've ever seen. Sometimes you have to get very close to see the punctations. Not with these guys.
