Description:

Clathrus ruber is a species of fungus in the stinkhorn family, and the type species of the genus Clathrus. The color of the fruit body, which can range from pink to orange to red, and it can reach heights of up to 20 cm. It was spotted in a decaying condition, in Goritsa hill archaeological reserve, Volos city, Greece.
