St. Andrew's Cross spider

argiope versicolor

Description:

My camera wasn't working very well and the picture is blurry but it is a spider. It was about 4 cm long (it was difficult to get up really close to measure him without it jumping around). It was brown and black in color. The web was almost a sphere which could mean that it was a Orb spider. I searched around in a field guide and I found out what it was

Habitat:

Fount in a branch at Singapore American School Rainforest.
