Green Heron

Description:

Wading bird with brown and white striped neck, dark crown, dark bill with yellow/orange colors, yellow eye stripe. Green Heron crouches and hides quite well.

Habitat:

Wading bird sits still for long periods for frogs and fish. Found in large watery areas such as marshland, rivers, lakes, etc.

Notes:

Hides quite well and can be hard to find to spite its size. Blends in very well.
