Description:

Twenty five to thirty feet tall multi-trunk tree with open-hand sized crimson red flowers bearing dark bluish fleshy seeds. Many fleshy petals and seeds are seen fallen to the ground. Many seeds are already germinating (e.g. photo no.5).

Habitat:

This bunch of tree was spotted growing along with a bamboos on an isolated plot. Surrounding it there are human settlements in hamlets, there also tea gardens and other forests. The place is warm to hot. Altitude about 1,000m.
