Texas Banded Gecko

Coleonyx brevis

Description:

Terrestrial geckos that are banded various shades of yellow and black, with spotting all along the back. The belly and legs are pink, and the skin is velvety.

Habitat:

They are found in western Texas and southeastern New Mexico, and northern Mexico. They prefer rocky places and are often found under rocks.
