Description:

This wild Iris, (fam Iridaceae) grows in groups in mediterranean habitat. It grows up to 40cm, has grassy evergreen leaves and produces blue to purple-blue flowers with deep yellow band.

Habitat:

Mediterranean habitat, garrigue. Seen in National Park Calanques, near Marseille, south France
