Description:

Lies with wings spread, otherwise appearing moth or skipper-like. Large head. Scallowed edges on wings.

Habitat:

Found nectaring on Goose-neck Loose-strife (Lysimachia clethroides) in my flower bed.

Notes:

In the 7+ years of living at my residence and photographing butterflies, this is the first time I had ever seen this species. Identification assistance from Facebook Group "Butterflying Ohio"
