A common skipper in southern North America & Central America that migrates north every year.
Southern U.S. south to Argentina. Strays to the Northern U.S. during summer. Fields, lawns, gardens, roadsides. Host Plants: Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), crabgrass (Digitaria), St. Augustine grass (Stenotaphrum secundatum), and other grasses.
