Description:

Average size new-tropical Tanager.about 18 centimeters, It is recognize by the yellow patches on its dusky green wings, (it is a little similar to the palm tanager) It is known from Mexico to Nicaragua and more recently in the northern part of Cost Rica, first report here in 2009.

Habitat:

Open areas, edges of forest
