Congratulations Tamar, your purple Cortinarius is our Spotting of the Day:

"Deep Purple! This very purple agaric mushroom (Cortinarius sp.) is our Spotting of the Day. Mushrooms come in many different colors, and their pigmentation can vary with age and after bruising. Pigments in mushroom fulfill several roles including UV protection and attracting insects. Mushrooms pigments are unlike those that are common in higher plants, such as chlorophylls and anthocyanins. Rather, pigments in higher fungi are quinones or similar chemical compounds which are manufactured by the mushroom following specific pathways. Mushroom Observer (https://buff.ly/2Fpq0xH) lists no fewer than 179 species as purple fungi. Several Cortinarius species have fruiting bodies with a strikingly deep violet color given by an iron-rich pigment.
