I found this banded California Gull on the beach in Carlsbad CA Christmas Day '15 eating a California spiny lobster the gull had fished out of a tide pool during low of a King Tide. I wasn't able to get any ID off the band. The gull who caught the lobster was chased by all the other gulls (second photo)
