Description:

Facing with leaves toward trail and sunlight with trees above and behind it, broad leaves and thin stems, veins coming out from a point in the center, circular shaped leaves with wavy edges

Habitat:

Right off of rocky trail, compact soil covered in leaf litter and branches from trees above, surrounded by about six other species of low growing plants, about 75 yards off of trailhead

Definitely time to accept the identification! Good description of the plant and the habitat. I grow this stuff all over my yard because my iguanas, bearded dragon, and tortoises all love it. Next time you find some that you're absolutely sure is pesticide-free, try a flower. Nice and peppery.
