Habitat:

sandy soils, including sandhills, pine-oak forests, pine flatwoods, and scrubs. Breeds in shallow, temporary wetlands, including cypress domes and marshes, and in ditches

Found this little guy near the parking area at the end of my hike through St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park.
