Thalaina selenaea
This pure white form of the Satin Moth had a wing span of about 50 mm. This moth had a rusty-orange line along the costa of the fore wing near the head. A few specks of black was seen along the inner margins (dorsum) of the fore wings and specks of orage along the trailing wing margins - all as marked out in pic 3.
Spotted under bright lights on building wall near a national park.
This species would typically have an orange trailing margin and black specks along the upper half of the inner wing margins but this moth appears to have some of both features which I found interesting.
There is also another form with a rusty line across the wings (see reference link)
Family: Geometridae
