Seen in the butterfly garden (NOT a controlled area) which is part of the Thattekad bird sanctuary (also a totally wild area) in rural India.

The only one I saw on the trip but in one spot in Taiwan (also a garden designed to attract butterflies etc.) there were many related ones.

I had seen similar ones in Taiwan and read that they still don't know whether the 2 species should be one species.
