Description:

They grow to a standard length of 50 cm but can reach up to 75 cm.

Habitat:

Patchily distributed in warm and temperate seas throughout the world in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

Notes:

Other names include spotted burrfish, Pacific burrfish, spotfin porcupinefish, few-spined porcupinefish, spotfin porcupinefish and few-spined porcupinefish.
