During a bush-walk this morning, we came across on place that was full of this antlion fly. It was an area of 3*3 meters and over one houndred flies sat in the plants there. The area smelled a bit like honey...

Habitat:

Next to Mlawula river, Riverine forest (Spirostachys africanus).

Hi Tiz! I had a silmilar chance to watch these take off from uprigthly hanging vines as I neard them. Nature is full of many more unseen wonders! :):)
