Xenocatantops cf. humilis
A medium-sized grasshopper with an attractive pattern with green being the predominant colour.
In a wooded area at low altitude well away from any village.
Thanks Dominik.
I will try and delete it then and perhaps upload it separately. I just don't have the location details. I spent a long time in the area but forgot to take a reading on my GPS device.
Not really sure about the second one, looks quite different for me, but definitely the same family Acrididae.
Nice to hear from you Dominik and a Happy New Year to you.
My trip to India was good for dragonflies but less good than South America for butterflies in particular.
Acrididae, Catantopinae, Catantopini, Xenocatantops sp., nymph, might be Xenocatantops humilis.
