Wolf Spider

Alopecosa kochi

Description:

Brown Wolf Spider with mottled abdomen and light stripe down the thorax. Unfortunately I didn't get a size but I believe it was about 1 cm long. "The female of this species has short banded legs, a broad tan stripe down the center of the carapace and faint paired white/tan spots along opposite sides of the abdomen."

Habitat:

Middle of dirt trail in grassy field. Found from "Southern British Columbia to southern Ontario and Massachusetts, south to Baja California and Texas"

I do not like these creatures at all 😣 I saw one of these in my bathroom once and it was the size of a kindergartner's face so I didn't go back into that bathroom for two weeks and tried to avoid any bathrooms as much as possible haha!
