Description:

Bradinopyga strachani, the Red Rockdweller, is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae. It is found in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, possibly Ethiopia, and possibly Tanzania.

Habitat:

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, and inland karsts.

Notes:

Caught them in here one rainy night. They often aggregate on plant parts with less foliage. They are attracted to light sources due to poor night vision.
