Pale Cup Moth

Doratifera pinguis

Description:

A small cup moth with tented wings and a thick mane of setae covering its head and thorax. Wings showed bands of smudged dark brown and pale brown patterns with highlighted veins. Wing span would have been about 30 mm.

Habitat:

Spotted on a building wall under bright lights, near a national park (Dandenong Ranges)
