Spotting

Description:

I think it is a plant hopper larva. It was very tiny, maybe 1 cm or less. And it can move fast when disturbed. Any ideas for the ID?

Habitat:

Sukau, Sabah.

Thanks Sukanya! Yes, I had not thought about it! perhaps it has some hydrophobicity in its hairs that do not allow the dirt to permeate on them. I wonder if some people studies this :-)

I wonder how it remains so clean and spotless white ! I bet the Textile industry will also want to know. No idea about ID, though. Great spotting, Marta.
